Identify pests and diseases in your crops at an early stage. Reduce losses, decrease pesticide use and protect your crops more sustainably.

Our team combines experience in artificial intelligence, entomology and agriculture. This knowledge translates into a platform built for speed, clarity and operational excellence.
Developed with scientific rigor, in partnership with the University of Évora. Batila follows research and data analysis protocols to ensure reliable and accurate results.
Batila integrates with your workflow, connecting pest detection with treatment recommendations across your entire agricultural operation.
Early detection of pests and diseases for more sustainable farming
Batila is a project dedicated to using Artificial Intelligence to support agriculture, helping to identify pests and diseases in plants at an early stage. We believe that detecting a problem as early as possible allows reducing losses, decreasing pesticide use and protecting crops more sustainably.
Currently, Batila is in a study and research phase, working in partnership with a laboratory at the University of Évora. Our work focuses on studying the main pests affecting olive groves and almond orchards in the Alentejo region and Spain, seeking to understand their behavior and develop solutions that enable faster and more accurate detection.
Create simple and accessible tools that help farmers and agricultural technicians make better decisions, contributing to more efficient and sustainable agriculture.
In the future, we aim to extend this work to other Mediterranean crops and continue developing AI-based solutions to support the agricultural sector.

Receive treatment recommendations adapted to the pest, crop and growth stage, based on real data.
Early detection and proper treatment work together to improve every harvest, season after season.
"This transformed the way we study pests — more efficient, more accurate and, ultimately, more useful for farmers in Alentejo."
